Sharni Vinson is an American-born Australian actress, dancer, born on 22 July 1983. She was born in Sydney Australia. Her debut was in the year 2001. She had a smaller role in Home and Away. It was because of her outstanding performance that she got the chance to perform the leading parts. She auditioned however for the role, but she wasn't picked. In the series she played the character Cassie Turner which was an unruly teenager with a foster family. Her character was highly loved by both the viewers and reviewers on the program.
