Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, in which she is a coach for athletes. Annie is the only woman to has been crowned winner of CrossFit Games in two consecutive year. She was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is a weightlifter CrossFit as well as a popular media personality. She is popular for being the first woman to win in the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. Her other achievements include securing Dubai Fitness Championships in 2013 and 2013. Annie was raised in Reykjavik, Iceland with her siblings and parents. From the age of a child, she has been a sport and fitness enthusiast. The year 2009 saw Annie Thorisdottir took part in the CrossFit game in California. In the following year she was a participant in CrossFit Games and won them because of her dominating performances. She became the first woman to ever take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. Annie was a winner, having an outstanding performance in 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the very first woman to win both CrossFit Games. Silver medals were awarded in 2014. In the year 2021 she received the Bronze award at the CrossFit Games. Annie currently coaches and trains Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was started by Annie. In the last few years, as an athlete, Annie has appeared as a spokesperson of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Nuun Hydration-Periodization Sidekick, Yerbae, among other brands.
